Terms of Service
Effective June 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of Cop The Drop ("the service"), a free product-release tracking and reminder service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. The service
Cop The Drop lets you save upcoming product releases, receive reminders before they go live, and browse releases other users have shared. The service is provided free of charge during this period; we may introduce paid tiers later, and will say so clearly before anything you currently use becomes paid.
2. Reminders are best-effort
We work hard at reliable delivery — it's the point of the product — but reminders are delivered via third-party email infrastructure and arrive subject to factors outside our control (spam filtering, provider outages, incorrect release data). Release details are sourced from public pages and user submissions and may be wrong, change, or sell out instantly. The service is not a guarantee that you will obtain any product. Always verify with the retailer.
3. Your account
You need a valid email address to sign in; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old. You can delete your account at any time from Settings — it's hidden immediately and permanently erased after a 30-day grace window, during which signing in restores it.
4. Your content and conduct
You're responsible for drops you add. Public drops (the default — you can toggle any drop private) are visible to anyone and may appear in Discover and on shareable pages. Don't use the service to post unlawful content, infringe others' rights, spam, scrape at abusive volume, probe or disrupt the infrastructure, or misrepresent release information deliberately. We may remove content or suspend accounts that do.
5. Intellectual property
Product names, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners; Drop Tracker displays them for identification, with source attribution where available. The service's own design, code, and content are ours. Rights holders can request removal via the DMCA page.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including missed releases, lost purchases, or lost profits — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $20 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently $0).
7. Termination
You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we'll notify you (email or in-app) before they take effect; continued use after that means acceptance.
